Image Info
This intriguing structure known as Squires Castle was built in the 1890's by Feargus B. Squire. It was intended to be a gatekeeper or carriage house to the 525 acres that Squire owned. The project never completed and was later sold to Cleveland Metroparks. Today it stands free and open to the public for enjoyment in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. As you can see in the images the building is nestled in a thick forest of healthy green trees. There is a picnic pavilion and miles of hiking paths. It's a place worth visiting!
