So I live in Northeast Ohio which is mostly suburbs or small cities. But that's only a part of it. It's also filled with numerous parks like this one known as Squires Castle in Willoughby Hills. It's surrounded by a thick hilly forest with veins of walking trails throughout. In the heart of the valley lays this incredible castle like structure. It was built in the 1890's by Feargus B. Squire. It was intended to be a gatekeeper or carriage house to the 525 acres that Squire owned. The project never completed and was later sold to Cleveland Metroparks. Today it stands free and open to the public for enjoyment. There is a picnic pavilion and miles of hiking paths. It's a place worth visiting!
